《Those Were the Days》這首歌曲，它的前身是 20 年代一首俄羅斯老歌 Дорогой длинною，英文翻譯為 By the long road，在大陸它的中文翻譯為「路漫漫。據說在更悠久的年代，這是一首非常古老的吉普賽民謠，隨著流浪的吟唱詩人在歐俄地區流傳，作曲家 Boris Fomin 根據俄羅斯詩人 Konstantin Podrevskii 的詩作，譜寫編曲成這首老歌。1920 年 Alexander Vertinsky 是第一個將這首歌錄製出來的俄羅斯歌手，多年來一直被傳唱著。1953 年曾經出現在電影《巴黎春暖》中的插曲，直到 1958 年尤伯連納主演的俄國文學電影《卡拉馬助夫兄弟們》採用作為插曲，才開始在國際上引起注意。
